//Dance for Stress Management//

Join us for two hours of movement and stress reduction in the midst of our hectic world. Dance for Stress Management is a dance course designed to provide participants an opportunity to relax and refresh from daily stressors. This class uses stress alleviating movement techniques and provides education on stress management and coping skills, such as breathing exercises and meditation.

Emily will guide participants using a mixture of DanceAbility methodology and Recreation Therapy programming to promote an inclusive environment where all people can come together for a stress relieving movement experience. Movement for the class will consist of individual and group improvisation and guided movement.

No previous dance experience is needed. Please wear comfortable clothes with layers for warmth while in stillness. If you are interested in attending but have questions, feel free to contact Emily at rectherapyaustin@gmail.com.
